The Chapel Hill Urgent Care staff utilizes Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) techniques to stabilize and initiate immediate treatment for injured patients. Our physicians have been trained and certified in ATLS. Moderately to severely injured patients will be taken care of expeditiously. Our goal is to stabilize the injury and provide comfort for the patient as quickly as possible.
CHUC cares for a broad spectrum of Injury and Trauma cases. We often provide care in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Laceration and Wound repair, Burns, Eye injuries, Dehydration and IV Fluid replacement. Our 10 most frequent cases include the following:

CHUC focuses on the most up-to-date and best treatment protocols. We will implement modalities to decrease discomfort and initiate Physical Therapy for enhanced recovery. We will also set up Orthopedic or Surgical consultations, as needed, for the more involved and difficult cases.
Upon completed treatment of the patient’s injury, CHUC staff will provide a detailed discharge summary that covers all restrictions and after-care instructions to minimize the recovery phase.
